One of the greats gifts you can give is your time.
The Arc Gloucester thrives by having volunteers assist us with events and programs throughout the year. Without volunteers, The Arc Gloucester would not be able to achieve all that we have in nearly 65 years. With the help of community members, we can continue to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to thrive at home, at work, and at play.
One of our volunteers has gone above and beyond.
Jaret Lyons started his journey of volunteering for 52 organizations in 52 weeks in December 2020 and his mission was accomplished on Monday, October 18th when he volunteered for The Arc Gloucester’s annual golf tournament.
Jaret’s Mission was born over Thanksgiving break in 2020 when he and his wife discussed ways to be more involved in the community and how they could make a bigger impact in the lives of others. Jaret accepted the mission of volunteering for 52 organizations in 52 weeks in and around the greater Philadelphia area.
“I am super excited to let you know I have completed my mission! On Monday, October 18th, I volunteered with The Arc of Gloucester at their annual golf tournament," said Jaret. "From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking this journey with me. It’s been incredible in so many ways and I’ve met so many selfless people making a huge difference in our communities”
