Life Long Learning - Evening classes for adults age 21+

The Arc Gloucester offers various Life Long Learning opportunities.  Classes are held in the evening during spring and fall of each year at Bankbridge Regional School.  Course selections include health & wellness, fine arts, performing arts, and arts and crafts. 

For students who are available during daytime hours, classes are held throughout the year at the ACT building (Adult Center for Transition) on the campus of Rowan College at Gloucester County.  Eat, Sing & Dance Around the World  is a class that allows students to learn about a different country/culture each week.  Students prepare recipes authentic to that country, listen to music, learn about the history, make art projects, etc. In the ARTivity class, students learn about different artists and get to explore various techniques. 

Our Health & Wellness through Ballroom Dancing program, held at Sunshine Inn at Camp Sun 'N Fun.  These classes are held the second and fourth Wednesday of each month and are taught by Gene LaPierre, of LaPierre Dance Studio.  Students enjoy exercise while learning a variety of different dances including, hustle, fox trot, tango & merengue.
