Human Resources Benefits Specialist  

Fast past Human Resources Department is looking for a detailed oriented person who can work both independently and as a team member.

The HR Benefits Specialist Implements and tracks all insurances, including but not limited to Workers Compensation, Temporary Disability, medical, dental, life and vision insurance. They process new/exiting employees with the applicable service provider as well as the payroll system. 

They also maintain compliance items including but not limited FBI fingerprinting, PPD, CPR, professional licenses and training files.

Experience in human resources required preferably in insurance processing, ACA changes, pension experience, FMLA and Workers Compensation. Must have experience with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and a HRIS database, ADP preferred. Knowledgeable on applicable laws, the ability to maintain HIPAA confidentiality valid driver's license are also required.

Education:  Bachelor's Degree in a related degree such as Human Resources or Business preferred.   HR/Benefits certification is a plus.

After School Aide Provide supervision and assistance to children with development disabilities and/or intellectual disabilities in an after school program.

Potential hours are from 2 pm to 6 pm Monday – Friday when school is in session and vary with student participation. Experience working with children (ages 5 – 21) with developmental disabilities a plus.  Staff employed at The Arc Gloucester must successfully complete the  provided training within ninety (90) days of date of hire.

Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license     High School Diploma or GED required

Provide supervision and assistance to children with development disabilities and/or intellectual disabilities in an after school program.

Administrative Assistant:  Are  you a detailed oriented person? This position works for the Assistant Executive Director in a fast paced office.  Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), type letters, reports and general clerical duties.  Previous experience in an Administrative Assistant role required, Ability to take shorthand or speedwriting preferred .   HS diploma/GED and valid driver's license required.  FT benefits package mainly Monday through Friday hours. 

Direct Support Professional/Residential Technician

Provide support to people with developmental disabilities in daily activities ranging from personal care to developing relationships in the community.


  • High school diploma/GED
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Satisfactorily pass physical/drug screening
  • 1 to 3 months experience, training and/or education preferred
  • Nurse's Aid and/or nursing home care experience a plus.  

Our group homes are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  This includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.  

  • FT/PT Positions, Various shifts and days

Residential Director or Assistant Residential Director

The Arc Gloucester is seeking both a Residential Director and an Assistant Residential Director to work full time in a Group Home in Gloucester County.

  • A minimum of three years experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Supervisory/Management experience preferred.
  • BS/BA degree preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • FT benefits package.

Day Program Technician/Tech Instructor

Full Time Monday through Friday working at one of our several Adult Training Sites in Gloucester County working with men and women with developmental disabilities.  

  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADL's) i.e. feeding, toileting, changing diapers. 
  • Provide consumers with recreational opportunities. 
  • High school diploma/GED
  • valid driver's license required
  • Over 18 years of age
  • Be able to successfully pass a physical which includes a drug screen is required. 
  • Previous experience as a nurse's aide or training is preferred.

  • Full time 32 hour position available.    
  • Responsible for coordinating pick up/drop off for families participating in program. 
  • Assisting with observation and direct care (including but not limited to toileting) of children. 
  • Maintaining proper logs and assisting with office duties as needed. 
  • Valid CDL License with passenger endorsement and a High School Diploma/GED required.  

Home Visitor - The Arc Gloucester is looking for a Home Visitor to assist families throughout Gloucester County for our Family Intervention Program. Provide in-home services to families by facilitating the objectives set up by the Family Intervention Program professional staff in areas such as parenting skills, household management, general family living, child care, and child development. 

This a part time 25 hours a week position, the schedule is flexible determined by the needs of the families which include occasional evenings or weekends.  A valid driver's license and a HS diploma/GED and reliable transportation are required. Experience and or an associate degree in Human Services a plus.

In Home Respite:  In-Home Respite Program and Saturday Drop-Off P/T, 15-19 hrs. per week (avg.); provide direct care services for children and adults with developmental disabilities either in their homes or in center based program; various days/hours based on the need of the families, with late afternoon, night and weekend hours being the most needed; must have access to reliable transportation and a valid Drivers license as travel throughout Gloucester County and HS diploma/GED is required; experience with children and/or adults with developmental disabilities a plus.  

Computer Technology Specialist 

  • Part time 24 hours a week. 
  • Work in conjunction with an outside firm to ensure our computer system is running effectively and smoothly.
  • Microsoft Certification such as: A+ Certification and/or Network + Certification strongly preferred. 
  • One year of Help Desk experience including issue diagnosis preferred.
  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science/ related area or graduation from a technical school where technology was the curriculum focus. 
  • High School diploma or GED required.   
  • A valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 40 lbs is required.
