About us!

The Arc Gloucester carefully designs programs that encourage individuals with developmental disabilities to not only thrive but to thoroughly enjoy each and every day. The individuals that we serve bring our programs to life; every person has a unique and victorious story.

The Arc Gloucester offers an array of services designed to enhance the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities and their caregivers. For example Camp Sun ‘N Fun, one of our longest running programs, helps campers develop many valuable skills and provides respite for their caregivers; here is a word from one of our camper families:

"Camp Sun 'N Fun means the world to my daughter who has been a camper there for over 20 years!  It is the highlight of her summer as well as ours. It is the only time we can "get away" for a vacation as a couple.  The camp provides an invaluable service to campers and their families. We never worry about our daughter when she is there.  The counselors are outstanding! They provide an incredibly fun and enriching experience for the campers. Every staff person from medics to the cooks and everyone in between is deeply committed to the campers. Thank you, Camp Sun 'N Fun and thank you Arc Gloucester."
