Celebrating our Community Partnerships was the theme of the evening because we recognize that there are many people, who in many different ways help us to fulfill our Mission and make a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities.

 

Assemblyman John Burzichelli (D - 3rd District) presented a joint resolution on behalf of the Senators and Aseemblypersons from Districts 3, 4 and 5.  The Resolution commemorated The Arc Gloucester's 53 years of service to individuals with developmental disabilities. 

 

Freeholder Joe Chila also attended the dinner and presented Ana Rivera, The Arc Gloucester Executive Director, with a Resolution on behalf of the Gloucester's many years of service and dedication to individuals with intellectual and related developmental disabilities and their families. 

 

Awards were presented to the following individuals and groups for their support of individuals with developmental disabilities.

  • Carol Sparks, Employee of the Year
  • Donna Nolan, Supervisor of the Year
  • Bryan Distler, Direct Care Professional of Year (day programs)
  • Edith Dim, Direct Care Professional of Year (residential programs)
  • Arlene Diehl, Bill Merryfield Volunteer of the Year
  • Luanne Zipkin, Marjorie F. Hull Outstanding Professional Achievement
  • Essie Beaman, Pearl Scherer Memorial Award
  • 21st Masonic District, Grand Lodge NJ F.&A.M., Distinguished Community Service
  • Fred Keating, Education Professional of the Year
  • Seth Broder, William Gordon, Lisa Conley, Media Excellence
  • Dr. Michael Bojarski, Health Care Professional of the Year
  • Melissa Borrie, Dave Ravel Memorial AwardMcDonald’s #653, Employer of the Year
