The Arc Gloucester's Adult Training Services serve individuals with a wide range of abilities, from those requiring total care to those capable of working in a supported employment environment.
Adults with severe and profound disabilities are served by our Special Needs Program.
Four of our Adult Training Sites offer training that focuses on practical arts, personal awareness, and social skills, while seeking contracts for meaningful work that provides participants with a paycheck for their efforts.
The Arc's Supported Employment program assists individuals in obtaining and maintaining competitive employment.
Through the training provided at The Arc Bakery, Book Store, Copy Center, Thrift Store and Crew Labor, individuals with developmental disabilities receive the experience they need interacting with the public. These jobs place individuals with disabilities in a work setting to interact with the public and provide customers with quality products.
Each Adult Training Site (ATS) specializes in various areas of work:
- ATS I, Chestnut Ridge - Ceramics and woodworking, Arc Bakery
- ATS II, Franklinville - Business signs, woodworking, contract work
- ATS III, Woodbury - Wedding photo albums, angels, wreaths, woodworking, ceramics, B'Arc Bones, handmade jewelry
