The Arc Gloucester’s Supported Employment programs can provide you with capable, dedicated workers who have demonstrated their job-readiness skills in our pre-employment training program.

Job training

Training a new employee can be a long and involved process. We can help minimize this period of transition at no cost to employers. A job coach will accompany the worker to the job site and work side-by-side until the new employee is fully trained. The job coach can also serve as a liaison, assisting co-workers and management in getting to know the new employee.

Ongoing Support

Once initial training is completed, the job coach continues to offer support for the duration of the employment. For example, if duties change, the job coach can assist in retraining the employee as needed.
